There are several mobility options for doctoral students:
_ travel outside the laboratory (company for CIFRE students), you must have a travel order (check with the laboratory manager)
_ travel to another laboratory, you must draw up a hosting agreement (check with the laboratory manager)
_ joint supervision, which allows you to do a PhD jointly with another university abroad and obtain two degrees after a single defence
_ joint thesis supervision, which allows you to conduct research at two universities with two thesis supervisors
Mobility funding
_ The ED launches a call for tenders in January/February to fund, up to €500, disciplinary training courses lasting at least 20 hours and one-week stays in a research laboratory to learn a technique necessary for the completion of the thesis project.
PhD students must complete the financial participation form. A letter from the head of the host institute is required for stays and the training programme in the case of a request for funding for disciplinary training.
_ The institutions of enrolment may also fund travel (e.g. UCBL, ask the doctoral centre managers for other institutions of enrolment).
No participation in conferences will be accepted.
